It does feel like we know little about figures from antiquity. I am glad this book shines some light on one of them

I wanted to like this. But then again, who doesn’t want to solve the is/ought problem?

I am proud to be a skeptic of very old books. Many of them are, despite their reputation, a bit silly.

Reading is hard, sometimes you try and fail.

Some books you just have to return to in order to fully grasp them. This one will need a ”round 3” from me.
