The meanest thing I can say about this novel is to just ask the question “why do we demonize one-hit wonders anyway?”

This is an excellent little thriller, that doesn’t seem to fall in the trap of glorifying it’s anti-hero.
I don’t think you need to get the moral of something exactly right for your to enjoy it.
