This book is meant to be a critique of the newest form of post-modern philosophy, and what it ultimately morphed into.

I once thought that reviewing a longer series would be a good idea, but as I got on with this one I felt that there were diminishing returns.

Reading this made me realize that my brain just won’t register horror in any normal way.

David Crystal wrote a nice little coffee-table of linguistic factoid.

Cloud Atlas made me want to reread a certain classic.

This won a Pulitzer?

It isn’t enough to have just a valid point. You also need to have a sound argument.

Sometimes as you read a sequel you just hope beyond hope that it wasn’t a marketing departments decision.

If you come into a book looking to answer just one question, you may come out of it disappointed.
